Vindhyachal — on the Ganga between Prayagraj and Varanasi — holds Vindhyavasini Devi, the goddess who tradition says chose to stay in the Vindhya hills after Krishna’s birth.
The signature practice is the Trikon parikrama: three goddesses in a triangle — Vindhyavasini (Mahalakshmi), Kali Khoh (Mahakali, ~2 km), and the hilltop Ashtabhuja (Mahasaraswati) — with four Bhairav shrines along the way. Darshan runs reported 5 AM–1 PM and 4–10 PM; the temple’s own site timed out during our fetch. Checked 02 October 2026.
