The verified frame: the ~5 km Kamadgiri parikrama (featured on the district site), the Mandakini’s Ram Ghat aarti, and the Deep Daan Amavasya mela whose October 2025 edition drew a reported ~12 lakh devotees in a single day. Checked 02 October 2026.

The town’s structure

Chitrakut straddles two states — the UP side (Chitrakut Dham/Karwi, with the UPSTDC Rahi bungalow) and the MP side (Satna district, with MPT properties) — divided by the Mandakini. The circuit: Ram Ghat and the aarti, the Kamadgiri parikrama, then the outward sites (Hanuman Dhara, Gupt Godavari, Sati Anusuya, Sphatik Shila, Janaki Kund). Big development is coming — a reported ₹3,821-cr greenfield corridor to Prayagraj and the ₹5,289-cr Ram Van Gaman Path revamp.
