The Arunachaleswarar temple’s HR&CE site publishes its own hours — 5:30 AM–3:00 PM and 3:00–8:00 PM, with darshan entry closing at 7:30 PM on Saturdays, Sundays, pournamis and holidays — making this one of the better-documented temples in our southern set. The ritual day carries six kala poojas (reported: Ushakala 5:30–7 AM through Arthajama ~9 PM).
The architecture frames it all: a 66-metre Raja Gopuram (storey counts conflict between sources — 11 or 13) and the 1000-pillar hall in the outer prakaram. Checked 02 October 2026.
