Sugam Darshan is Kashi Vishwanath’s official queue-less darshan — the temple describes it as “queue less darshan in 3 easy steps”, running 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM (not during aarti windows), booked through the temple’s own site or app.
The price is where the temple’s own pages disagree: the daily-schedule page lists ₹250, the pooja-list page ₹300 — both official, so we show the conflict and tell you to confirm at payment. Checked 01 October 2026.
How to book
- Open the official site or app — shrikashivishwanath.org. Avoid resellers; the official system is the only channel this page can vouch for.
- Choose date and slot. Sugam runs 6 AM–6 PM and is unavailable during aarti windows (official schedule). The advance booking window is not stated on any page we could verify — check live availability.
- Pay and save the ticket. ₹250 or ₹300 (official conflict — the payment screen is the truth). Carry a printed ticket and your ID.
- Arrive at the assigned gate. The official description includes a Shastri escort and a free locker; foreign nationals use the Darshan Booking Desk with original passport and visa photocopy.

Who should buy it — and who shouldn’t
Good fit: elders who can’t stand long lines (pair it with our senior guide), families on tight train schedules, weekend and festival-week visits when the free queue balloons.
Skip it: ordinary weekday early mornings, when the free queue is reported manageable and darshan costs nothing. Budget travellers with flexible timing lose nothing by queueing.
One honest gap: the exact on-screen flow changes and we haven’t run a live booking yet — our screenshot walkthrough follows in the next verification pass. Nothing above depends on unverified screen states; it’s all from the temple’s own pages.
Frequently asked questions
Is Sugam Darshan worth it?
On weekends, festival weeks and for elders — yes. On quiet weekday mornings the free queue is the better deal.
Can I cancel or get a refund?
The FAQ’s no-refund rule covers ticket cancellation; assume non-refundable.
How many people can book together?
The pooja-list page associates a maximum of 5 persons per booking with the Sugam entry — the per-booking cap for the current system should be confirmed at checkout.
Is there an offline counter?
Third-party guides report a Darshan Booking Desk near the temple for walk-up purchases with ID; the official pages describe the desk for foreigners explicitly. Verify on site.
